Speak With Ease,

Change Nervousness To Excitement

Free 60 Minute Workshop

What To Expect

This free workshop is intended to be participatory rather than just a 'listening in the

background' exercise. The purpose is to show you how Fiona of Locus Coaching can help to speak with anyone, anywhere with confidence, warmth and inspiration; so you can stop being shut down or filled with nervous anxiety.

Fiona will show you, instead, how you can be lit up with excitement, enjoying your

speaking experience; Confident in your ability to be clear in your message and engaging in your delivery.

Perhaps, currently, you feel that you are in battle with yourself and are not enjoying speaking in public, when in truth, you have got such a lot to say, if only it would come out the right way and you could be sure of the impression you are giving.

Possibly, you're very confident about what you do, and even sometimes have no problems with speaking, but at other times you falter. It is infuriating; you know that it may damage your message and mean that your audience lacks trust in you.

Not being able to feel comfortable or to communicate well and comfortably in the myriad of situations that come under the title of speaking in public is holding you back from success; sales; being understood; making great connections with people and, ultimately, causing you pain.

It could be

• In sales conversations or networking situations.

• When giving presentations or talks to certain audiences.

• Simply being heard in meetings and answering testing questions.

Fiona will show you how to take control of the way you come across, through allowing your mind and body to work together. She will help you engage proven delivery techniques in conjunction with good structure and careful selection of content.

Fiona invites you to join her at this transformative Workshop, where you will discover practical steps that will prove life-changing, taking you from nervousness in speaking out, to calmly sharing your voice!

There are two opportunities to take part, Wednesday 23rd Oct at 12 noon, and Thursday 24th Oct at 6 pm. You will find the registration links below.

Meet Fiona

Whytehead

Fiona Whytehead has been working as a coach and trainer since 2005, helping people to speak well, relate to and manage others positively. She has also helped them find the best direction in their own life and work.

Fiona brings to the table, experience and skills from her previous professions, as an actor and a fundraiser. As a performer she acted on film and on stage. She has played in theatres up and down the country including London’s West End. As a fundraiser, she produced shows in venues of all sizes – from private houses to the Royal Festival Hall. She led three successful multi-million fundraising appeals for two different charities, and was Director of Fundraising at Refuge (domestic violence). In these worlds, Fiona learnt and practised the art of speaking, exerting influence, and how to find motivation. Having been a manager and raising significant funds, she also understands the importance of a clear vision, and the practical know-how required to reach challenging goals.

Now as a trained development and performance coach and speaking skills trainer, Fiona specialises in facilitating people to be able to speak up, stand out and be heard in any situation they are in. I work across a variety of sectors with clients in business, media, local government, schools, third sector and private individuals with their personal or work-related aims; including young people.

Fiona has helped individuals to speak and be heard at big occasions with large audiences, intimate receptions, pitches, and one to one meetings. At organisation level, she has supported managers to lead their staff effectively; and help their businesses to expand.

She is skilled at helping you to develop your confidence as a speaker and in your own personal presence. She facilitates you to remove any obstacles and dismantle any fears that are getting in the way of you being a great communicator and in believing in yourself as such.

Clients tell Fiona that they admire her high energy, expertise, and focus. They appreciate her ability to make them feel comfortable with being challenged, in order to move forward and achieve; and the value the fact that she listens intently, taking her cue from them, the client.

Testimonials

Fiona’s zest for life, enthusiasm and understanding of my own particular needs was truly inspiring. Our work together got me through a tough speaking challenge and specifically ‘key’ was how she helped me with pace and timing.

– C.J., Senior Television Producer, World Television

Fiona actually unlocked the unlock-able and I found my voice. I gained confidence with my voice but more importantly how to look after it professionally as I spend the majority of my time coaching and presenting. Since the training I have gone on to be a Public Speaker and Radio Host as well as share my story on national television – none of which I could have done without Fiona’s training and personal support.
